| OK - the SC category is going to be changed to a "discussion on dooyoo forums" thing. Ops on DL specifically should be posted in internet.
So I think the original rule of no duplication still exists. Just.

| I think a "discussion on dooyoo forums" type of category has value in SC, albeit in a navel gazing kind of way.
That's what the category should have been in the first place IMO.
Thanks, Claire. | |

Thanks, Claire. Now my perfectly posted review that was in "Dooyoo forums in general" in SC yesterday, is now in the category for Dooyoo Lovers in Internet? Can a guide find out what's going on please? My review is pretty much completely OT where it is... SU at best.

| OK, so there's been a redesign today.
That bit in the top right corner of community pages - 'you were thanked in the last 30 days 29584'. What on earth does it mean? Does it mean 29584 times?
If so, who's been thanked? All of dooyoo? Or just me? Because while the people of Britain have every reason to be grateful to me for my incisive reviews of old video nasties, I never imagined I had such a large following.

| And I notice the dooyoo logo now has a sunflower next to it. Last week it had some vaguely autumnal leaves. I assumed that it was going to change with the seasons, but it seems not. Are we going to get some different random plantlife each week? Because that would be very nice. | |

| The "thanked" figure is for the total membership - ie there have been just shy of 30k "thanks" given on opinions over the last 30 days. Given that many of us were "testing" the thanks button I'd say we could knock a bit off that figure too!!
As for the plant life - no idea!

| Could a guide find out when there are going to be more film, book or music additions on the site?
Could someone also find out if this process is still automated, and if so, why we so often get weeks (or fortnights) where it doesn't happen?

So they are only semi automatic....someone still has to click the button OK, thanks for asking, I'll assume that means Friday. But this raises more questions. Two music additions were added today - I thought the whole point of the 'automated' system was that it freed up dooyoo staff to do other things, but presumably these were added manually. So could you ask how come some people jump the queue and what the criteria for being allowed to jump the queue are? (I don't intend to try and do it myself, but I do find it curious and slightly annoying that, while most people have to wait for their suggestions to be considered, someone seems to get preferential treatment...).
