Hi guys, just a quick message to let anyone who is interested know that I've very recently (just yesterday!) set up a pet forum. It's for dicussion about all kinds of pets, we're obviously still extremely new but we hope to grow in members and content daily.

The link is:

http://allthingsfurry.forumotion.com/forum.htm

Thanks and hope to see some of you there shortly. Smile

Sorry just to add: the forum cannot be seen by guests (apart from one section)- we have nothing to hide, it's just a safety measure against potential thieves lurking and spying on the location of potentionally very expensive animals!

good luck with it

Would it not be better not to disclose locations then - as thieves could just register.....

Thanks.

I can't stop people from mentioning their locations, I can however do all I can to prevent thieves gaining access to that information.

If I had a pet, I'd be right there. Sadly, I don't have the time or finances to be able to support a dog. Sad

dogs are hard work. Cats are easier. They hunt, shoot and fish on their own.

Cats are evil whereas dogs are God's own creatures.

You got a lie in then. Normally it is 4.10am.

Anyway have had a word and he is seriously miffed, says he won't be pushing mice under your door again.

My cat once barfed up the remains of a mouse on the bed....at stupid o'clock in the morning...all over husband's side...and I think it was his birthday to add insult to injury. I have never seen him move so fast...!

The cat is now deceased (not, I hasten to add, as a direct result of the above), but I wanted to point that out in case I never get any more house guests!!

That sounds like a challenge! Your place next then, Helen, and we'll see what your cats can manage!

My late kittie once got a nasty bout of cystitis that meant it was too painful to pee if he was awake and he only seemed to be able to do it whilst totally comatose. Ex-boyfriend woke up to find the cat had been asleep on top of the duvet and had peed all over his legs. You can imagine how quickly the cat was down the vets after pulling a stunt like that.

Now, better not give Andy challenges like that, he will have them out shooting prey! Like Linda's avatar!!

Yes Caroline, I did have sea monkeys - they died. I tried them again - they died.

My idea was to improve morale in the office, but the constant death on my desk made me even more miserable than usual - my line manager mentioned it in my appraisal....

Oh dear.......sorry I mentioned it.

Crying or Very sad

The best thing did to improve my own personal morale at work was to get pregnant and then leave! Now I just pop in to say hello every once in a while, much more satisfactory!!
