| What are your hopes and predictions for your and other teams this season? As an Everton fan I hope for top four but fear that we will struggle if Lescott goes. We also need a mid fielder and right back and appear to have no money to buy either! With a europe cup on the horizon without signings we will limp into sixth. Obvious top four but I predict arsenal to have a much better season and city to do sod all! | |

| I'd LOVE to see Celtic qualify for the Champions League - but Arsenal are going to be so tough over two legs.....(but we do have a good record against English sides, so you never know (*insert "fingers crossed" emoticon*))
So joining Everton in the Europa (or whatever it's called now) League seems a more realistic expectation.
For a few teams in Scotland financial survival will be the biggest goal after the Setanta disaster.

| Camp Freddy, after 19 years of saying 'This is our year', aren't you a little bored of it? You do know that every time we hear it said we snigger up our sleeves.
I think Man U or Chelsea will win the title. But I'm hoping Everton, Villa or to a lesser extent Man City break the top 4.
The big battle will be in the Championship. Where Forest will get into the playoffs, but I think West Brom are best equipped to win it due to not having to sell off their premership salaried players (like Borough and Newcastle are doing) as they really didn't have too many of them.
ps. Is Picard wearing the new Man U kit?

| 1. United 2. Chelsea 3. Liverpool 4. Arsenal
Seems to me like all of the traditional "top four" sides are slightly weaker than last year. None of them managed to land a really big signing, and some key players have been lost. So it will be close at the top and Man City may buy themselves into the top four also, though it pains me to say it.
Anyone have any views on candidates for the drop? My three early predictions (though I'm routinely about 2/3's wrong):
Wolves Wigan Hull City | |

| Ok - predictions:
1. Chelsea 2. Man U 3. Liverpool 4. Arsenal
I have to agree with tom1clare - no one has had a big signing but I think the sale of Ronaldo will be significant. I think the bottom of the table will be the more interesting end come the end of the season, so
to go down:
Portsmouth Hull Burnley
(PS And I haven't seen today's scores yet, avoided them all day and MoTD has only just started)

| I want Manchester United to win the Premiership..(again) And I want Hull not to give us any last minute match nightmares like last year, and basically avoid relegation. | |

Wolves Wigan Hull City Noooooooooooooooooooooooo...not Hull LOL Sorry, got nothing against Hull as a club - just going on their form last season, I'm not sure they've won a league game in 2009.

| I'd forgot I put Fabregas as captain of my Fantasy Football team - cos of the all the goals and assists etc he got a ridiculously high score. I'm basking in the glory of the one week I'll have at the top of the Opinionators league, all downhill from here I fear. | |
